They are seeking a Production Engineer who is passionate about technical products and manufacturing processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality RF products and driving process efficiency within their dynamic RF division.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in the RF product manufacturing cycle, focusing on mechanical assembly, material joining techniques, and electrical/RF testing. Your goal will be to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and elevate quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Monitor outputs, conduct root cause analyses for defects, and implement corrective actions to ensure our products consistently meet or exceed quality benchmarks.
  • Manufacturing Support & Problem Solving: Provide essential technical support to the manufacturing team, troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly to minimise downtime and product loss.
  • Documentation Skills: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and quality control protocols, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements to reduce costs and improve product reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, an HNC with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in process optimisation, root cause analysis, and quality control methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
