We're delighted to be working with a established leading provider of housing and social care in the appointment of Commercial Director.
As Commercial Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's commercial strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring effective cost control and income maximisation while overseeing critical areas such as procurement, health & safety, facilities and maintenance. Your leadership will directly contribute to the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the organisation is efficient and effective in the use of its resources
- To explore and evaluate opportunities for financing new business or increasing efficiency ensuring
- Support the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- To monitor budgetary performance and ensure that budget holders are advised when prompt corrective or preventative action is necessary
- To lead organisational Housing, Facilities Management, Procurement and H&S provision
Requirements:
- Relevant sector experience with Health & Social Care or comparable service industry
- Ability to understand and operate at a strategic management level
- Track record of successfully delivering commercial services efficiently and effectively
- Direct experience of staff line management
- Knowledge of the strategic and funding issues affecting the provision of care
- Financial modelling for care tenders and acquisitions.
Contract:
- This is a permanent position of 37.5hrs per week
- Basic salary of £85,000pa
- Remote working with a mix of home based and working across the portfolio of services in the South / Southeast of England
