Spider is advertising on behalf of a bookkeeping and payroll practice who are looking for a Part-time Admin & Marketing Assistant to join their team in Witham, Essex. The role is to be fulfilled on-site at the company office. This is not a remote role.

About the role:

As the Part-Time Admin & Marketing Assistant, you will be the friendly face and voice for their clients, helping to streamline operations while also contributing to their marketing initiatives across the Director's additional businesses. There will be an opportunity to earn commission! In this role you will work 12-16 hours per week Monday – Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in accountancy or bookkeeping who is eager to expand their skills into marketing!

Main Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Answer calls and efficiently handle client inquiries, ensuring a smooth communication flow. 
  • Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to maintain our high standards of regulatory compliance. 
  • Provide general administrative assistance to enhance overall team productivity. 
  • Engage in social media management and content creation, contributing to their online presence and brand awareness across their two other businesses.
  • Plan and coordinate events that showcase their services and engage their community. 
  • Assist the Director and team with various tasks as they arise.

About you:

You will need to have previous experience within an administrative background, experience in marketing is a plus but not essential. A background in accountancy or bookkeeping is preferred. You thrive in a multitasking environment and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your ability to work independently, combined with strong organisational skills.
