Infinity Employment are seeking meticulous and detail- oriented Aerospace Quality Inspectors to work on behalf of our Industry leading client, specialising in providing Engineering Solutions to various sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that their products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves conducting inspections, analysing data, and implementing quality control measures to uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. This contract will be for 3 months based in Chelmsford. Must have an aerospace background and experience within an engineering workshop environment. PAYE 14 p/h, Umbrella 17 p/h, LTD 18 p/h.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform inspections on CNC-turned machined parts, and fully assembled products to verify adherence to aerospace quality standards.
  • Detect and correct discrepancies in workshop documentation,
  • Accurately interpret and analyse 2D drawings and model specifications.
  • Use various electronic and handheld measuring tools for quality inspections :
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Depth Gauge
  • Ensure effective and timely completion of Inspection documentation
  • Operate a part of a 5-person team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working in a similar engineering workshop environment within the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to uphold exceptionally high standards of process control in all aspects of quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 14.00-18.00 per hour
