Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Food manufacturing & distrubiton Team Leader to join our friendly and proactive Client near South Woodham Ferrers on days to control and support the smooth running across their shift internally.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for overseeing the shift production performance and ensuring the smooth running of the operations within the cutting department and lead your team accordingly to ensure orders are cut, tampered, processed and loaded to meet customer orders.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the current shift in the Production.
  • Achieve operational objectives and ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Manage and coach the team.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures, including health and safety.
  • Implement and develop new initiatives ensuring best practice and processes are improved and followed.
  • Stock management and control.
  • Double check deliveries and food is processed in a timely manner.
  • Offer training & Support as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal departments within the site such as Warehouse, Transport, Sales or other department managers as required.
  • Promote positive communication with all of your team.

You will need:

  • Confident and outgoing individual.
  • Food manufacturing managerial experience is essential.
  • Excellent people and operations management track record.
  • Confidence with the ability to take responsibility and make decisions in a pressurised environment.
  • Reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to working shift hours and support the business to ensure deadlines and deliveries are met.
  • Ability to learn quickly, respond positively to changing demands, embrace and implement new ideas.
  • Min. of 3 years manufacturing/production supervisory experience.
  • Good time management skills.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
