We are looking to appoint a skilled and dynamic Project Manager Construction to support our expanding business. You will be joining a forward-thinking team, taking the lead in managing the construction elements of projects valued up to £1m from inception to completion. This role requires you to ensure all works are delivered within agreed timescales, meet high-quality standards, and strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team to ensure all activities conform to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Provide expert guidance and direction to ensure excellence in project delivery.
- Oversee and control on-site construction activities, ensuring progress aligns with the project plan.
- Contribute to the overall planning and programming of the build process.
- Manage general construction works and liaise with subcontracted specialists.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual agreements and industry best practices.
- Attend site meetings, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and provide progress reports.
- Chair and document subcontractor meetings.
- Record and report key project metrics to the management team.
- Provide operational support, reviewing procedures, and implementing best practices and new initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years construction experience
- Proven experience working with a main contractor or a large subcontractor.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop your team.
- Technical expertise in the construction industry, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Client-focused, with strong communication skills to maintain effective client relationships.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Commercial awareness and financial acumen.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
