GVR Solutions are representing one of their longest clients who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Essex.
Theclient undertakes projects within the prime residential, commercial, education,healthcare and listed buildings sector.
The works they take on are design & build, refurbishments, Fit out, conversions and extensions.
The Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
- Cost control, planning and forecasting
- Managing client variations
- Valuations and Applications for payment
- Feasibility studies
- Cost benefit analysis
- Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
- Risk analysis evaluations
- Dispute resolution and cost justification
- Assist in monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts
