From leading tender processes to contract management and supplier evaluation, you'll play a crucial role in shaping procurement best practices within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert procurement advice to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and manage tendering processes, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations.
  • Develop procurement strategies and frameworks to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring service excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive procurement innovation.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve procurement processes and reporting.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree with relevant procurement experience OR part-qualified in a professional procurement qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of UK public sector procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Experience managing tendering procedures, contract drafting, and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement and financial systems such as In-Tend and Business World.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
