The role focuses on new business development and converting new customers, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
Candidates should ideally have a degree in an engineering discipline and a proven track record in sales within the electronics manufacturing sector.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission, with responsibilities including maintaining sales forecasts and updating the company CRM.
Travel for meetings, trade shows, and training may be required both in the UK and internationally.

We have been instructed to recruit a Sales Engineer for an electronics company.

The main purpose of this role will be to carry out new business development activities and convert new customers.The successful appointee will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission.

The role is based in Mid Essex.

Responsibilities:

- New business development

- Meeting and exceeding KPI's

- Maintaining an up to date sales forecast and list of projects

- Updating company CRM

- Stay up to date with product lines, industry trends, market etc.

- Travel for meetings, trade shows and training as required (UK and international).

Skills & Experience required:

- Degree in Engineering discipline (desirable).

- Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales or sales engineering position.

- Proven track record in sales.

- Work experience within electronics manufacturing / supply / reselling or similar.

- Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
