The role focuses on new business development and converting new customers, with responsibilities including meeting KPIs and maintaining sales forecasts.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or a sales engineering position, along with a proven sales track record.
A degree in an engineering discipline is desirable, and candidates must have a full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
The successful applicant will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission.

We have been instructed to recruit a Sales Engineer for an electronics company.

The main purpose of this role will be to carry out new business development activities and convert new customers.The successful appointee will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission.

The role is based in Mid Essex.

Responsibilities:

- New business development

- Meeting and exceeding KPI's

- Maintaining an up to date sales forecast and list of projects

- Updating company CRM

- Stay up to date with product lines, industry trends, market etc.

- Travel for meetings, trade shows and training as required (UK and international).

Skills & Experience required:

- Degree in Engineering discipline (desirable).

- Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales or sales engineering position.

- Proven track record in sales.

- Work experience within electronics manufacturing / supply / reselling or similar.

- Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
