About the Business

An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a multi-million, sustainable manufacturing company based in Cheltenham, who offer a home-based role, needing to come onsite only once a month. This role gives you a fantastic chance to be in a part of a successful and forward-thinking, business as a management accountant.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Support financial planning processes by working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals.
  • Cost Management: Track and analyse business costs, ensuring efficient use of resources. Provide insights on cost optimisation and highlight areas for potential savings.
  • Financial Analysis& Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support business performance.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyse financial performance vs budgets and prior years, identifying key variances and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration; working closely with the Finance Business Partner to understand the financial implications of operational decisions and support decision-making.
  • Pricing Maintenance: Review and checking of monthly prices for pricing errors.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is fully remote with going to the office once a month based in Cheltenham. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 20+. The business is very flexible in its working patterns. This role is an initial 14-month contract.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 12 months of Management Accountant experience
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Well-versed in commercial finance
  • Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is essential!
  • Driving License
