What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Management & Reporting - Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate revenue and stock reconciliations, working closely with operations to account for aged and damaged stock, and delivering clear, insightful financial reports.
Insight & Strategic Influence - Provide meaningful financial analysis that supports commercial decision-making, identifying risks and opportunities that drive the business forward.
Process & Control Improvement - Manage Master Data accuracy, prepare VAT and Duty returns, and maintain financial compliance across all reporting processes. Act as a key escalation point for AP/AR matters, resolving complex queries efficiently.
Business Partnering - Work closely with operational teams across multiple business areas, ensuring financial processes run smoothly and resolving any finance-related queries. Support the transition of AP/AR responsibilities and drive improvements in financial operations.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Part-qualified or finalist-level accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset.
- Experience in stock, manufacturing, or FMCG is essential.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
