They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Aerospace Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise and calibrate various inspection and measuring equipment, such as verniers, micrometres, calipers, and CMM equipment, to ensure accurate measurements of parts and components.
  • Communicate any defects found to production and engineering colleagues, both verbally and in writing, utilising reporting and record-keeping procedures.
  • Share technical knowledge and understanding to assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Participate in audits performed by external parties and internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Ensure conformance of components and parts by meticulously conducting inspections and completing accurate documentation.
  • Compile First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Attention to detail and dexterity in handling precision equipment.
  • Qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and first-off inspection procedures.
  • Proficient in decision-making and problem-solving.

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in using inspection and measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometres, calipers, and CMM equipment.
