Supplier Quality Engineer – Swindon – Up to 45k DOE

I am working with an electronics company based in Swindon, who are now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Handle supplier quality issues by investigating product defects and non-conformities
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for quick resolution
Maintain accurate records of supplier evaluations, inspections, audits, and corrective actions
Perform QA control tests, including visual checks, on products and ASICs

Requirements:

BSc in a STEM subject (or equivalent)
2+ years of experience in a similar quality role
Understanding of quality management systems and standards (ISO/TS 16949 and VDA6)
Strong skills in analysing and interpreting data sets
Experienced with MS Office
