Head Chef - required for a Rosette level kitchen using local seasonal produce, if relocating live in can be available. Cotswolds/Gloucestershire area - Rosette level -A seasonal fresh restaurant in the Gloucestershire area is currently recruiting a Head Chef. The restaurant isRosette standardand has an excellent reputation which the Head Chef will up hold. If you love seasonal produce, plus local produce, this is the role for you.


The role:

As Head chef you will be fully responsible for running the kitchen within the restaurant. You will lead the team from the front and be hands on in the kitchen whilst still ensuring targets are hit and all normal paperwork completed.You will have input into the menus and prepare specials as well. This is a small team, so it is a hands on role, you will be doing prep and cooking in service, not just running the pass. This role will include all the normal duties.


Experience:

We are looking for a Head chef from a high volume but also fine dining background or a senior sous chef ready to step up to a head chef role with arosette level of cooking or equivalent experience is preferred for the position as is experience controlling a busy kitchen. This is a hands on role, so as a head chef you must be happy to be hands on cooking, this is not a office head chef role.
