Our client, a country pub with rooms located in Stow On The Wold are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join their team! The position comes with excellent training and development opportunities within the group.

As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef. This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to consistently deliver exceptional dishes. Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Head Chef, Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, prepare and produce food as directed using modern methods, equipment, and fresh food
  • Ensure that the section operates effectively daily
  • Ensure that all food cooked and served is of a high quality
  • Maintain sufficient level of mise en place for Lunch and Dinner service
  • Ensure that Staff meals are of a good wholesome and healthy standard
  • Provide junior members of the kitchen team with support in training and development so that service and product delivery is consistent

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Chef De Partie working with fresh food or a similar role in a busy kitchen environment.

-Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school is preferred.

-Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.

-Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.

-A passion for creating delicious, high-quality food with attention to detail.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
