Sales Manager£40,000 - £50,000Cheltenham, Gloucestershire(Hybrid)This is an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate sales team within one of Gloucestershire's top media brands! Our client is seeking a strategic and ambitious to lead their sales team and drive new commercial opportunities in a fast-paced media environment. You’ll manage and grow relationships with key partners, develop new revenue streams, and play a key role in shaping the company’s commercial strategy.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the commercial strategy, identifying new revenue streams.
  • Manage and inspire the sales team to meet targets.
  • Meet individual sales targets by crafting and delivering compelling proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
  • Represent the company across the business and externally, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with a strong focus on metrics and achieving targets.
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Leadership experience, capable of motivating and guiding a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Calm under pressure and proactive in finding solutions to challenges.
  • Familiarity with Gloucestershire’s business sectors and local contacts is a plus.
  • Experience in media, marketing, recruitment, or related sectors preferred.
  • Knowledge of advertising, sponsorship, and event sales is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using modern technologies, including CRMs (HubSpot), Office 365, and social media.
