CAD Technician - Construction & Civils
About the Role:
Kennet Solutions have a new opportunity for a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing high-quality, accurate CAD drawings for a growing subcontractor who specialise in the design and delivery of retaining wall projects. Your work will directly support the design and construction of critical civil infrastructure, contributing to projects that make a real difference in communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed and precise CAD drawings in line with project specifications and industry standards.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports and construction plans.
- Review and amend drawings as required, ensuring all updates are incorporated efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
- Collaborate within a dynamic team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician in the construction / building or civils sector.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Knowledge of retaining wall systems, design principles, and relevant civil engineering standards.
- Familiarity with structural engineering concepts and construction processes.
