About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Town Planner to support a diverse portfolio of planning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver high-quality planning advice and achieve successful outcomes for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and related submissions.
- Conducting site appraisals, planning policy reviews, and feasibility studies.
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing expert advice on planning strategies and solutions to meet client goals.
- Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation and policy frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI membership or eligibility preferred).
- Demonstrable experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, legislation, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
