About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Town Planner to support a diverse portfolio of planning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver high-quality planning advice and achieve successful outcomes for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and related submissions.
  • Conducting site appraisals, planning policy reviews, and feasibility studies.
  • Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing expert advice on planning strategies and solutions to meet client goals.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation and policy frameworks.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI membership or eligibility preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, legislation, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
