About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Town Planner to support a diverse portfolio of planning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver high-quality planning advice and achieve successful outcomes for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and related submissions.
Conducting site appraisals, planning policy reviews, and feasibility studies.
Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Providing expert advice on planning strategies and solutions to meet client goals.
Keeping up to date with changes in planning legislation and policy frameworks.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI membership or eligibility preferred).
Demonstrable experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning.
Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, legislation, and procedures.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
