We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Commercial Insights to shape data-driven strategies for a complex, international B2B business. In this role, you will lead a small but capable insights team (BI + pricing) and bridge the gap between operational leadership and data analysts, economists, and commercial thinkers. Your focus will be on guiding where to prioritise efforts and why.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Commercial Insights function across 20+ business units in Europe.
- Provide clarity and structure to drive performance, growth, and prioritisation using data.
- Align BI and pricing efforts with commercial priorities, translating complex trends into actionable intelligence.
- Collaborate with regional GMs, commercial directors, and sales teams to define focus areas and track progress.
- Standardise tools and reporting while emphasising the importance of data insights.
- Influence change and bring teams on the journey towards insight-led operations.
- Background in commercial, strategy, pricing, or business performance.
- Experience in a B2B industrial, manufacturing, or engineering setting (preferably process-driven and multi-entity).
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership, challenge constructively, and bring data to life.
- Strong understanding of how pricing, volume, and operational levers impact business outcomes.
- Familiarity with BI tools to influence usage (e.g., Power BI), but this is not a hands-on technical role.
