Project Manager (Black Belt) Contract Role

A fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager (Black Belt) contract role has just become available, for a well-established client near the Gloucester area. This business has undergone sustained growth to produce high-value, complex components for various safety-critical industries. The company is seeking a contract professional for an immediate start, offering a 4-week contract for 3 or 4 days per week, making it an ideal fit for someone between roles. If successful, you'll gain a competitive hourly rate of £65 - 70 p/h, flexible working hours, and the autonomy to drive continuous improvement across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Deliver large scale projects influencing stakeholders at Exec level.
- Use relevant project management tools to ensure quality, time frames, and budgets are adhered to.
- Utilize software such as Minitab and Microsoft Project to monitor data and provide full traceability.
- Mentor staff with problem-solving tools and lean techniques.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify potential risks and areas of improvement.
Requirements
- Experience within a similar role - Business Improvement, Consultant, etc.
- Experience delivering Black Belt Sigma projects in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use and demonstrate the use of Quality tools such as Pareto analysis, DMAIC, VSM, etc.
- Proficiency in software such as Excel for data analysis to a strong level.
- Engineering or relevant education within a technical division (Six Sigma Black Belt Level).
