Parts Manager

Location: Cheltenham

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on experience)

Working Hours: 45 hour week Monday - Friday

Our client is looking for a Parts Manager to join and manage their busy accident repair centre. They have a great reputation and are well established.

Job role:

  • To lead and have accountability for the smooth running of the parts department in a busy accident repair centre.
  • To develop relationships with external suppliers and internal business areas.
  • Identification and ordering parts as required and secure and label all parts to be returned.
  • Communicate with our business leaders about possible delays and lead times.
  • To work using your own initiative and prioritise duties as agreed with the site leaders to drive high levels of customer satisfaction at all times

Qualifications and experience:

  • Parts ordering/receipting processing and capability
  • A strong customer focussed background
  • Organisational and prioritising skills
  • Knowledge of insurance principles (desirable)
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work on own innovative
  • Previous Parts Manager experience

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience of Autoflow, Audatex and Parts Link
  • Ability to multi task, build good supplier relationships and control costs essential
