Hays are working with a one form entry school in Cheltenham who are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and nurturing school community.Your new role:
- Working hours: Every morning and at least three afternoons per week (to be discussed at interview).
- Initial placement likely in Year 2, with flexibility depending on experience and interests.
- Teaching Assistants work across year groups, supporting the learning of children in classrooms and/or working with individual children or small groups as needed.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a caring approach and enjoy working with children in a school environment.
- Are willing to support the Christian ethos of the school.
- Bring a calm demeanor and a good sense of humor.
- Previous experience working with Primary education with children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or as a Volunteer i.e within a youth organisation, sports coaching etc. English and Maths skills to support these areas of the curriculum.
