What You'll Do:In this role, you will be the backbone of our accounts department, ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting our growth. Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:
- Bank Reconciliations: Keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring every penny counts!
- Xero Accounting: utilise our cloud-based accounting software to post transactions seamlessly.
- Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger and assist the Accounts Assistant with invoice postings.
- Invoice Processing: Match supply invoices to delivery notes and verify pricing accuracy to maintain our reputation for reliability.
- Credit Control: Manage the sales ledger for B2B and marketing contributions-your expertise will drive our success!
- Payroll Preparation: Aid in payroll preparation through external accounts using Planday, ensuring our team is well taken care of.
- Month-End Processes: Contribute to month-end reporting and VAT reviews on Xero-your detail-oriented nature will shine here!
- Budget Reporting: Prepare monthly budget reports for marketing initiatives, helping us strategise for future growth.
- Supplier and Customer Liaison: Maintain day-to-day communications with suppliers, customers, and our leadership team, fostering strong relationships.
Who You Are:
- A proactive individual with proven experience in accounts management.
- Familiar with bank reconciliations and the nuances of purchase and sales ledgers.
- Proficient in Xero accounting software-if you know your way around it, you'll fit right in!
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
