Job purpose The Finance Business Partner position will closely support the MD and Executives with all aspects of cost management (including reporting, control, budgeting and forecasting), assist with the production of the Executive Period Review pack, Board pack and support on commercial projects. The candidate will be a key business partner for the wider business in relation to financial performance and planning. A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to build cross functional relationships and act as a positive ambassador for the Finance team. The candidate will have a positive attitude with strong core accounting, problem solving and analytical skills, ideally gained within an SME environment. Key responsibilities
- Support heads of departments and Directors to drive business performance
- Provide insightful commercial analysis to seek out opportunities to improve performance and management information
- Analyse costs and revenue initiatives and opportunities, Â as well as relay financial performance & risk to the business
- Revenue Recognition reporting
- Play a key role in  budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
- Work with the wider finance team to deliver best in class reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Previous experience in a finance business partner or management accountant position.
- IFRS 15 Experience
- Professionally qualified ACCA/CIMA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver accurate and timely financial information.
- Highly motivated with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems.
- Strong level of knowledge in accounting processes, systems and techniques.
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
