Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing, ambitious business? Hays are partnering exclusively with a Cheltenham-based technology company with a turnover of £33m, and they are looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

As the Group Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial performance of the business, with a strong emphasis on commercial focus and strategic input. You'll be instrumental in guiding the business through its next phase of growth, balancing both high-level financial oversight and hands-on involvement in monthly financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the group's financial activities, providing strategic insights and commercial direction.
Utilise PowerBI driving strong data analysis
Take ownership of the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial reporting.
Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support decision-making.
Provide financial analysis and insight to support the leadership team in commercial opportunities and business planning.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support M&A activity, contributing to financial due diligence and integration.

About You:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused business.
Hands-on experience with financial processes, including month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic industry.
Prior experience in the technology sector is advantageous, but not essential.
