We are looking for a meticulous Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our client’s Finance department. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, this role is essential for managing the company’s purchase ledgers, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and promptly. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a strong background in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate workload to Purchase Ledger Assistants, be the point of contact for work queries.
  • Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Efficiently match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond to supplier queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a finance department.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
