Role Responsibilities- Managing a varied portfolio of tax clients, ensuring compliance and providing high-quality tax advice
- Reviewing corporate, personal, and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Delivering proactive tax planning solutions tailored to clients’ needs across different tax areas
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, advising on tax-related matters and identifying opportunities for additional services
- Mentoring and training junior staff, helping them develop their technical expertise and confidence
- Researching and preparing advisory reports on various tax matters
- Working closely with senior management and partners to improve internal processes and support the firm’s growth
- Staying up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients on implications and opportunities

Candidate Requirements- CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- At least four years’ post-qualification experience in tax within an accountancy firm
- Broad tax knowledge, covering corporate, personal, and trust tax, with exposure to VAT and employment tax being beneficial
- Strong client management and advisory skills, with the ability to explain tax issues clearly and confidently
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify tax planning opportunities and additional services for clients
- Experience in mentoring, training, or managing junior staff
- Exposure to tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
