Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy company committed to developing, building, and operating innovative renewable energy hubs. We are looking for a People Coordinator to compliment and reinforce the expertise in this newly formed People department. The ideal candidate will take genuine pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work proactively. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join this newly formed People department as we continue to develop and strengthen the function in a highly people centric culture. Our aim is to create a positive and supportive work environment and to enable the business to achieve its goals through its people, adopting a proactive and strategic approach to talent, wellbeing, employee relations and development.Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Managing the pre-onboarding and onboarding processes, including liaising with new starters, coordinating signing of contracts, carrying out reference checks, verifying and recording right to work and all relevant arrangements for their start.
  • Data management of HiBob to ensure that data is fully up-to-date and accurate.
  • Creation of employee letters (from templates) before sign-off by the People Advisors or Head of People.
  • Producing regular reports on People data and activity as required and analysing data from regular monthly reports and reporting to the team as required.
  • SharePoint champion for the team (SharePoint training can be given), responsible for auditing files to ensure that they are correctly filed and well managed, archiving and deleting where appropriate.
  • Ad hoc project work, either managing your own projects with oversight from the Head of People or an Advisor or supporting in other larger projects.
  • Support with diarising, setting up and rolling out of the annual cycle of employee programmes such as compensation, bi-annual development meetings and pulse surveys.
  • Administrative support of the payroll, compensation and benefits processes.
  • Providing support on the recruitment process, including formatting job descriptions and arranging interviews as necessary.
  • Management of the People inbox, responding to queries on a timely basis and in line with our KPIs.
  • Ownership of data integrity on HiBob through regular updating, reporting and auditing.
Your Experience
  • A minimum of one year in a People / HR generalist role.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one HR system, with HiBob being an advantage.
  • CIPD level 3 would be an advantage (training is offered for anyone keen to develop their CIPD qualifications).
  • Strong experience of the Microsoft Office suite, with Excel being especially desirable.
  • A genuine desire to be a part of a People team, with an innate sense of customer service.
  • Experience of the visa application process is desirable.
