HR Team Leader – The Role:

This is a new role and a unique opportunity for an innovative HR professional to challenge the status quo and make significant contributions to shaping the future of the role, team and service. With great people and communication skills, and a passion for all aspects of the role, you will be a very important part of our new team.

HR Team Leader – Key Responsibilities:

- As one of our HR experts, you will work in partnership with our Leadership Team and Managers to offer value-added, creative advice and solutions

- Coach and build the capability of Managers and the HR team to anticipate and pre-empt

organisational issues

- Support the HR manager and lead key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations and performance management

- Support the HR Manager to deliver projects or activities that support the delivery of transformational change, HR and departmental strategic objectives

HR Team Leader – You:

- CIPD qualified or equivalent qualifications/skills gained through experience

- Strong track record of developing and implementing policy, experienced in implementing HR policy and priorities

- Experience of being involved with transformational change projects and programmes – transform proposals/ideas into practical reality

- Experience of working in partnership and influencing with a range of stakeholders including Directors, managers, trade unions, employees and external partners, to improve performance and achieve business objectives

- Relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders; including employee relations experience covering complex disciplinary, grievance, organisational change, TUPE etc.

- Management/supervisory experience
