The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background coupled with experience in a variety of corporate legal matters and have the ability to learn and develop further in the role.Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and drafting of corporate documents, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and company formation documents.- Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal opinions.- Manage and maintain corporate records, including filings with Companies House.- Support the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, including document review and organisation.- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on case progress.- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for client meetings.- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting corporate governance and compliance.Requirements:- Degree educated or equivalent qualification- Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate law, is highly desirable.- Strong understanding of corporate legal principles and procedures.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
