The Demand Planner role requires a meticulous candidate skilled in forecasting, inventory management, and procurement within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This crucial role is based in Cheltenham and is instrumental to the smooth running of our client's Procurement & Supply Chain department.

Description

  • Oversee the creation and management of accurate operational forecasts
  • Implement best practices in inventory management
  • Work closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain department to streamline processes
  • Maintain a steady supply of materials to meet production needs
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accuracy in demand forecasting
  • Utilise data analysis tools to improve forecasting methods
  • Report on inventory levels, delivery times, and supply chain issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
