We are currently working with one of our clients to source a Temporary - Permenant Tenancy Support Worker on a full time basis at 37.5 hours per week. The hourly rate for this is negotiable.

The role will be taking care of a patch focused on south wales, gloucester, worcester and cheltenham with one day working from home a week when not on patch.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Provide assistance and advice to tenants, taking appropriate action where required
  • Respond to emergency calls from tenants, care providers and staff and summon appropriate assistance as necessary Identify and assist tenants in vulnerable circumstances, referring them on to other relevant agencies and monitoring these services to enable the tenant to sustain their tenancy
  • Report maintenance issues
  • Assist and support with claiming housing benefit
  • Report ASB, nuisance, harassment, domestic violence anti-social behaviour in line with the organisation’s procedures and current best practice
  • Proactively work in partnership with the internal team, care providers, social workers and other agencies
  • Provide a customer focused tenancy support service to tenants to enable them to maintain their tenancies and live independently within their homes
  • Develop and implement a broad range of pro-active solutions to help sustain tenancies, identifying areas of preventative work
  • Keep up to date on housing related benefits and advise tenants on these
  • Complete housing benefit claim forms on behalf of tenants and verify claims on behalf of the Local Authority

Please note this role requires a full UK Driving Licence and an Enhanced DBS
