I am reaching out to you as I have had an exciting role come up for a Contract Surveyor to cover the Cheltenham patch for a well-respected social housing organisation. This role will be 6 months temporary with flexible working patterns. Job title: Contract SurveyorContract: 6 months paid through umbrellaLocation: CheltenhamRate: £30-32 an hourResponsibilities of the Contract Surveyor:
  • To plan, administer and deliver a high quality planned maintenance service and through robust delivery of planned maintenance projects
  • Manage EWI Contracts
  • To ensure projects are delivered with a strong quality & customer focus. Manage and report on budgets and KPI performance.
  • Undertake full Contract Administration duties, including financial control, quality control, contract certification, monitoring and reporting on progress ensuring delivery of a professional and high-quality service.
  • To collate and report on contract progress and performance (KPIs).
  • Manage budgets relating to your individual projects, ensuring that the processing of financial data is accurate and timely, and in accordance with financial procedures.
  • To survey buildings to identify condition with regard to safety, suitability inc deviation from current standards, and necessary remedial works.

Experience needed for the Contract Surveyor:
  • Knowledge and competency to undertake the role with a minimum of at least 3 years' experience in an appropriate technical or professional role.
  • Relevant qualification: degree/NVQ level 4 educated or professional qualification.
  • Ability to inspect properties from a building surveying perspective
