Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our client in Cirencester, offering a salary that is dependent on experience.
The position requires a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) and MRICS certification, with a focus on the residential sector.
Candidates should have experience with listed buildings, a solid understanding of the planning system, and good knowledge of building control.
Strong client management skills are essential, along with the ability to write schedules of work, specifications, and produce various reports on properties.
The role also involves contract administration and project management, and knowledge of JCT contracts is preferred.

Monday - Friday - 9.00am - 5.30pm (Flexibility is offered with some working from home)

We are currently recruiting for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our client based in Cirencester

Requirements

You must be MRICS (5 years minimum PQE) and experienced in the residential sector.
Must have experience with listed buildings, understand the planning system, and good building control knowledge.
Good with clients and able to meet new clients and win work.
Able to write schedules of work/specifications.
Knowledge of JCT contracts (MW & IMW), contract administration experience, and project management experience.
Able to manage own workload
Able to undertake inspections and surveys.
Produce reports on defects.
Produce reports on properties (RICS Level 2 and 3).
Produce insurance reinstatement costings.
Nice to have - Party wall / dilapidations.
