The Role:As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial and commercial processes. You’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and supporting engineering projects, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults on machinery
- Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing in line with schedules
- Install, remove, and relocate equipment and machines
- Maintain both factory and office working areas
- Support engineering projects and assist team members when needed
- Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing maintenance role
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and power presses
- Qualifications: ONC or time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance (City & Guilds 2381 & 2391 and 18th Edition desirable)
