About the role:

Academics are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to work in a SEN school. As an SEN teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex learning needs and making sure they receive a quality education with tailored supported programs allowing them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities as a SEN Supply Teacher.

  • Deliver engaging lessons to meet the unique needs of SEN students.
  • Work with school staff and SEN coordinators to implement learning plans tailored to students.
  • Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Work closely with staff and pupils families providing feedback on the students' progress.

Requirements of a SEN Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching.
  • A strong understanding of SEN practices including behaviour management strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, being able to communicate with SLT, staff and students families.
  • Enhanced DBS (We can help you with this)
