The Role

As Group Financial Controller, you will oversee a Finance team, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in financial operations. Key responsibilities include managing financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, risk evaluation, and leading a diverse team of finance professionals across multiple countries.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of 10+ across varied finance functions, from transactional tasks to complex accounting.
  • Develop team objectives, foster a strong service ethos, and improve financial management skills across the organisation.
  • Optimise cost structures and oversee supplier management for day-to-day operations and transformation projects.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and manage the global recharging model and transfer pricing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely statutory accounts and year-end reports.
  • Maintain relationships with auditors and oversee internal and external audit processes.
  • Manage multiple treasury entities, covering risk, compliance, and technical accounting.
  • Lead on annual refinancing and dividend distribution projects.
  • Drive transformation initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and measurable benefits.
  • Act as a key contact for cross-business projects, restructuring, and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Purchasing, and other finance partners.
  • Provide guidance to senior stakeholders, including the Group CFO and other executives, on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you should ideally possess:

  • A formal accountancy qualification such as ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, overseeing a diverse array of finance functions.
  • A process-improvement mindset and a willingness to collaborate with key operational stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
  • The salary, ranging from 120,000 to 130,000 per annum, is a reflection of the fair market value, and it represents a logical increase from your previous compensation.
