Position: Finance AssistantLocation: WeybridgeSalary: £13 - £14 Per HourDuration: Temporary coverHours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pmOverview of a Finance Assistant:As a Finance Assistant, you will manage and post cash transactions, track and reconcile payments, handle internal transfers and invoice queries, and ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient month-end processes.• Tuesday and Thursday in the office and the rest WFH• Manipulating data from the bank extracts, posting the data to BACs sheets for Credit Controllers to have visibility of cash in.• Posting accurate application of all daily cash, including cheques, complex electronic and manual cash receipts, adjustments and refunds - across various bank accounts.• Tracking status of all payments to meet all requirements and departmental performance standard ensure a smooth month end process.• Minimise the level of unapplied cash by obtaining all payment information when not provided. To manage the allocation of advanced order payments and the daily/weekly unapplied cash reporting.• Internal payment transfers between sites in line with the Intercompany account process. This is to include identifying payments for transfer, logging, review and reporting of transfers to all sites.• Manage the invoice query process - to be responsible for the credit and reinvoice life cycle from start to finish. This includes reviewing new requests, investigating and resolving queries.• Raise all order & manual invoice and credit requests for the business, including those for intercompany accounts.Due to the large volume of applications we receive for each position we will only be able to respond to applications received with the relevant skills.
