Our client, the leader in their field, and well positioned to continue to be, is exclusively partnered with Aila to recruit a Finance Director to join their team on a 3 day a week part-time basis. The Role:The Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer contributes to the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives by overseeing effective financial planning and financial operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability
  • Provide financial insight and leadership to influence decision-making
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis process, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Support the development of financial capability by providing finance-based coaching and training to the management and leadership team as necessary
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management accounts
  • Implement strong financial controls, risk management frameworks, and ensure governance and compliance standards are met
  • Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and procurement
  • Provide financial leadership in evaluating new business opportunities, acquisitions, or investments
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO previously
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, risk management, and accounting principles.
  • Experience in improving financial processes and systems in a hands-on environment
  • Experience in contributing to the development of value-add services and appropriate pricing models
