Our client, a well-established, fast growing firm in South Bucks is currently recruiting a Paralegal in their Commercial Property Department.

Suitable candidates must have experience in the required area of law and posses excellent working knowledge and skills in this role or similar, with the main purpose of the role being to provide general Paralegal Assistance and support to Fee Earners and the department.

Candidates will have prior paralegal experience, possess fast and accurate data inputting skills, and the ability to manage the Departments files.

ROLE:

  • To provide legal assistance and administrative support
  • Carry out office administration, including billing and writing letters
  • Progressing matters as required
  • Dealing with new enquiries
  • Diary management
  • Progressing cases as requested by the fee earner
  • Opening and closing matters using LEAP software.
  • Dealing with compliance matters (AML searches, etc.)
  • Making appointments and attending to clients.
  • Liaising with third parties.
  • Producing completion statements and drawing up bills.
  • General Paralegal tasks in relation to individual file management.
  • Reception cover as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience of working in a Commercial Property team (min. 1 year)
  • Good knowledge of the commercial property processes.
  • Good understanding of commercial terminology.
  • Experience in handling the administrative side of commercial property transactions.
  • Experience in dealing with post completion matters and dealing with Land Registry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Audio typing would be beneficial

This is a full time office based role.

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
