Role Overview:
As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum, ensuring that all students are engaged, challenged, and supported. Your duties will include:

• Planning and delivering dynamic, engaging lessons across all subjects in the KS1 curriculum.
• Creating a positive learning environment where students are motivated to learn and grow.
• Differentiating lessons to cater to the diverse learning needs of your students, ensuring all children, including those with SEN, can thrive.
• Tracking pupil progress through assessments and using data to inform future planning.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of the children.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a passionate educator with excellent classroom management skills.
• Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and a track record of delivering engaging, creative lessons.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and a desire to continuously improve.
• Possess outstanding communication skills, able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be fully registered.
• Be well-organised, with the ability to plan ahead, meet deadlines, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of the students.
