Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Management Accountant will include:
- Manage the month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Regularly analyse costs and provide valuable insights to support decision-making and identify savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, handle R&D tax credit claims, and assist with audits.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure accuracy in accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to support business growth
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Management Accountant will have:
- Studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE with relevant experience
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a management accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and management reporting processes
- Excellent Excel skills (Advanced)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and in a fast paced environment
