As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting key financial processes such as budgeting, auditing, and tax matters. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, analysing data, and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Description

  • Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements for various entities.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
  • Handle IFRS adjustments and contribute to the creation of Finance Board Reports.
  • Assess VAT-related matters and provide support on tax issues for UK and Ireland entities.
  • Drive improvements within the finance team while fostering collaboration with colleagues.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and monitor financial transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support cash flow management and financial planning activities.

Profile

  • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and liaising with external auditors
  • Good working knowledge of VAT
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
