We are seeking a Junior Customer Service Representative to be a vital part of our operation. If you have a passion for customer service and a penchant for precision, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our billing processes, primarily focused on communal utilities. You'll be at the forefront of our customer service operations, serving as the first port of call for residents and addressing their enquiries through both phone calls and email.

Essential Requirements: 

  • Must have a permit to work in the UK
  • Possess a valid driving licence and own a car
  • Reside within a 30-minute drive of Chessington

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer enquiries promptly and professionally, primarily over the phone
  • Managing financial transactions, including banking, fund transfers, and remittances
  • Issuing late payment letters and ensuring compliance with payment schedules
  • Pursuing and confirming tenancy changes
  • Preparing BACS reports for financial tracking
  • Generating final bills accurately and in a timely manner
  • Managing franking and postal duties
  • Assembling comprehensive Welcome Packs for new properties and tenants
  • Prioritising tasks in a responsive and flexible manner to meet dynamic demands
  • Mastering various proprietary systems unique to our operations
  • Adhering to strict GDPR procedures and ensuring data privacy compliance

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and Word
  • Good organisation and diary management skills
  • A strong capacity to adapt to changing environments and evolving industry trends
  • Ideally a background in customer service roles, showcasing substantial expertise in phone-based customer interactions
