Technical Compliance Coordinator Role Overview:
Working closely alongside a highly successful Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance for the Technical department, ensuring Quality documentation, investigations and audits are all completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Compliance Coordinator:
- Maintain and update the QMS to meet compliance standards.
- Prepare and review food safety documentation.
- Assist with internal and external BRC audits.
- Handle customer complaints, investigate root causes, and analyse trends.
- Ensure product labels comply with specifications and regulations.
- Review and adjust risk assessments as needed.
- Deliver technical training to junior team members.
- Maintain lab standards, including equipment and hygiene.
- Monitor and manage the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).
- Lead recall investigations and ensure traceability.
- Perform regular food safety compliance checks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar role, within a food manufacturing environment
- A degree or equivalent in a Food Science or related discipline
- Knowledge of food legislation, labelling, nutritional and allergen information
- A strong communicator with customer facing experience
