Reed Food & FMCG are currently supporting a Food Manufacturing company in Greater London who are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their technical team.

This role is nightshift, you will work 7pm - 7am on a 4 on 4 off rota.

You will play a key part in the technical team and be the main point of contact for all things technical on the night shift, a great opportunity for someone looking to progress to a Technical Manager further on in their career.

Shifts: Nights - (7pm - 7am, 4 days on, 4 days off)

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • To verify and measure the delivery of the technical and food safety standards across the site, ensuring standards are maintained and are in line with both customer and NESI requirements.
  • To ensure monthly procedural audits are in place to validate these requirements supported with an annual review that demonstrates any trends within the data and the preventative measures implemented to prevent a reoccurrence.
  • To ensure GMP audits are completed as part of a multi-disciplinary team, against the defined schedule and NCR's are raised within the relevant support systems.

Candidate specification:

  • Must have QA experience within the Food Industry, ideally in high care.
  • Strong character, able to make decisions and lead from the front.
  • Ability to drive increased technical compliance through a coaching and development style
  • Working knowledge of technical management systems
