The Opportunity:We are looking for a Nursing Home Manager, Residential Home Manager or an experienced Deputy Manger to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced deputy manager ready to step up into a management role, or for an experienced nursing / resdential home manager looking for a new challenge in a supportive, family-run environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and well-being for all residents.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated care team to maintain our high standards of service.
  • Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations and promote continuous improvement throughout the home.
  • Work closely with families, residents, and staff to foster a warm, supportive, and positive atmosphere.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and ensure efficient financial performance.
  • Handle complaints or concerns professionally and sensitively, ensuring the best outcomes for residents and their families.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a nursing home or an established Nursing Home Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and healthcare regulations.
  • A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • A background in nursing (desirable but not essential) or significant management experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
