KCR Solutions have an exciting payroll opportunity to join this well established firm of accountants based near Chester le Street.

You must have excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. Our client will consider those looking for full or part time hours. Experience of working within practice would be beneficial but it is no essential. Our client will consider experienced payrollers or those starting out in this field.

Job Role

  • Preparing weekly and monthly payrolls for a number of clients or varying sizes
  • Calculating pension deductions
  • Distributing forms such as P45, P60, P11d
  • Processing holiday, sick, maternity and paternity leave payments
  • Processing PAYE deductions and sending payroll information to HMRC
  • Auto enrolment notices
  • Calculating pay rises, shift payments and overtime compensation as required
  • Answering queries from clients.
  • Ensuring data accuracy is of the highest standard.

The Person

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
